"The Spirit of GOD, the Master, is on me because GOD anointed me.
He sent me to preach good news to the poor, heal the heartbroken,
announce freedom to all captives, pardon all prisoners. (2)GOD
sent me to announce the year of his grace--a celebration of God's
destruction of our enemies--and to comfort all who mourn, (3)To care
for the needs of all who mourn in Zion, give them bouquets of roses
instead of ashes, messages of joy instead of news of doom, a
praising heart instead of a languid spirit. Rename them 'Oaks
of Righteousness' planted by GOD to display his glory." Isaiah
61:1-3 The Message Bible
We at New Jerusalem Christian Fellowship are a non-denominational
church. We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. Applying
these sacred words to our lives is important as reading them and
gaining knowledge and understanding. It is our hope to lead many to
salvation through Jesus Christ, Our Lord, and to grow and be
equipped in the faith. We not only want to save the lost in our own
families, church, and community, but also want to bring hope and
healing to the inner-cities and throughout the world. We are a
people of prayer. God hears us as we pray and He is faithful. We
offer many different types of educational experience for every age
group. Our style of worship is mostly contemporary, but we also love
some of the old hymns. Our Praise Team consists of anointed singers
and musicians who love to worship the Lord. In addition, we have
several women's Bible studies, men's group, youth group and
children's activities. New Jerusalem is blessed to have a daycare
program called, His Kids New Jerusalem's Daycare. It is well staffed
and they love children. The church also has a School of Ministry
where individuals can learn the Word of the Lord in a more in-depth
way and, if desired, can earn an associates degree in Biblical
Studies. Each year the church develops a new motto for the year. In
2008 our motto is "Be Fruitful and Multiply." We want to grow
both, spiritually and numerically. Come and grow with us!
